For this custom-ordered mosaic, the client wanted a chicken and maybe a sunflower. So I perched the chicken atop a hill with the sunflower providing the chicken some shade. What fun to create!

I created this beautiful hummingbird from a plate with these myriad of colors. He is dipping his beak toward the cobalt blue flowers. The proud owner may or may not part with it as a potential gift for a friends. :)
